AMSTERDAM – Fashion conglomerate PVH Corp is to make its design start-up Stitch 3D available to brands beyond its portfolio.
Stitch 3D, leveraged by Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein at present, offers digital design services enabling brands to streamline product development and mitigate waste through more accurate renderings.
Anne-Christine Polet, who heads up the burgeoning tech innovator, told Vogue Business: “With the problems the industry is facing, we need to break down silos. If you look at industries that have advanced technologically much faster than fashion, some of the underlying accelerators have been technology, standardisation and, to some extent, data accessibility.”
