SAN FRANCISCO – Denim giant Levi Strauss & Co has published its first annual sustainability report, detailing the company’s efforts to reduce its impact and increase transparency.
Levi says the report - informed by Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainable Accounting Standard Board (SASB) standards - details existing sustainability work and sets out new targets.
It confirms the company is on track to meet its existing science-based targets on reducing GHG emissions in its owned-and-operated facilities, as well as its global supply chain, and to meet its renewable electricity targets, all by 2025.
