COWES – The Ellen MacArthur Foundation (EMF) has today published a new document that draws insight from the signatories of its Jeans Redesign Project.
‘The Jeans Redesign: Insights from the first two years’ reflects on the framework’s success to date and highlights the barriers brands and retailers say they’ve faced amidst their adoption of circular design principles.
Laura Balmond, who leads EMF’s Make Fashion Circular initiative, said: “The Jeans Redesign supports organisations to build the confidence to explore and learn about how to use circular economy principles to put products on the market. The collective challenges and solutions identified made it clear where investment and innovation are needed.”
