LONDON – The UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion (ESF APPG) has published a new report which details recommendations on how government and stakeholders can address the fashion industry’s environmental impact while protecting workers.
Cleaning Up Fashion addresses the combined issues of exploitation and climate change, offering suggestions based on survey research conducted throughout supply chains and amongst consumers.
Tamara Cincik, CEO & founder of Fashion Roundtable, a think tank that works closely with APPGs, said: “Cleaning Up Fashion, not only highlights the key issues facing the sector, it offers a roadmap to transform the sector and change policy to support success.”
