AUCKLAND – Outdoor apparel brand Icebreaker, a VF Corp company, has revealed that it is 91 per cent of the way towards its target of being completely plastic-free by 2023.
The announcement comes in the fourth annual Transparency Report of the company which is seeking to create high-performing outdoor clothing from entirely natural materials.
Icebreaker says that 91 per cent of its fibres are now merino wool or plant-based and that it expects to sell more than 1.3 million garments made of these materials this year.
