NEW YORK — Fashion company Ralph Lauren has committed to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in both its own operations and its global supply chain by the year 2040.
The company has also pledged to link executive pay to key environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics from next year, and to increase transparency on issues including carbon emissions, factory data and diversity.
The commitments are being made as part of Ralph Lauren's new annual 'Global Citizenship and Sustainability Report' in which it shares progress towards its environment and social goals.
