CORNWALL – British fashion designer Stella McCartney has told G7 leaders to revisit and amend policies surrounding ‘sustainable’ products in order to stop “penalising those doing good”.
McCartney was one of nine chief executives to join world leaders at the summit in Cornwall, and discussed opportunities for investment in sustainability.
She told Sky News: “I don’t think anyone really knows that fashion is one of the most harmful industries. I’m desperate to get across some of the facts and reality of how unfashionable the fashion industry is.”
