SAN FRANCISCO – Technology company Higg and the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) have launched the latest version of the Higg Brand & Retail Module (BRM).
The new version of the Higg BRM, a tool only in its second year of existence, enables more than 500 brands and retailers to assess 16 social and 11 environmental impacts of their global value chains.
From today through to 30th June, SAC member brands and retailers can use the tool to self-assess the sustainability of their 2020 business and value chain operations. Then, from May to December, companies have the option to verify these self-assessments through an approved third-party body.
