MANCHESTER - Retired judge Sir Brian Leveson has published his first report on Boohoo's response to allegations that many of the UK garment workers who make its clothes worked in dangerous conditions for illegally low wages.
Sir Brian was appointed by Boohoo to oversee its Agenda for Change programme after Alison Levitt QC’s independent inquiry found “many failings” in the company's Leicester supply chain.
He revealed that the fast fashion company had so far removed 64 garment manufacturers from its UK roster, replacing them with "ethical suppliers" since embarking on a review of its supply chain.
