Being appointed as the CEO of a large recycled polyester yarn producer in the middle of a global pandemic is not ideal timing – but Eddie Ingle says his decision to return to Greenboro-based Unifi was a no-brainer.
Ingle, who first joined the company more than 20 years ago, told Ecotextile News that his first priority back at Unifi was to stabilise the business.
“And building a sustainable business first begins with building a business that can sustain itself – so working on simple things like working capital, getting the inventories right,” explains the former CEO of Indorama’s Recycling Group.
