SYDNEY - Only 35 per cent of more than 400 brands assessed were able to show they had made regular payments to their suppliers throughout the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new report.
The study, by Baptist World Aid Australia, assessed 96 Australian, New Zealand and international companies, representing 428 brands, on positive actions taken during the pandemic.
Entitled the Covid Fashion Report, it is a special version of the charity's annual Ethical Fashion Report - the most comprehensive study of its kind for Australia and New Zealand.
