GENEVA – The five finalists have been announced for the Better Cotton Innovation Challenge - a global competition to find creative ideas to improve sustainable cotton farming practices around the world.
The contest, staged by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and IDH The Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH), aims to uncover innovative approaches to farmer training and data collection.
A jury of external experts, BCI and IDH representatives, and consultants from the Dalberg group assessed 87 applications and shortlisted 20, before selecting five candidates to progress to the final phase of the competition.
