MILAN - The Green Carpet Fashion Awards - which recognise industry moves towards sustainability - are going digital this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The event, normally held at La Scala theatre in Milan, will this year be a fusion of film, augmented reality and holograms directed by Grammy-nominated Giorgio Testi and produced by Emmy Award winner Pulse Productions.
The awards, staged by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) in collaboration with Eco-Age, will be broadcast on 10 October on Sky TV and YouTube, during Shanghai Fashion Week.
