SAN FRANCISCO - Higg Co, the tech company behind the Higg Index sustainability measurement platform, has appointed ex-Microsoft executive Josh Henretig as its new vice president of global partnerships.
Henretig joins Higg after 17 years at Microsoft and will be responsible for developing new partnerships with key stakeholder organisations aligned with Higg Co’s mission and vision, and identifying new collaboration and scale opportunities based on future product plans.
“Higg Co is interested in partnerships that advance the Higg Index platform’s ability to unify how organisations measure and improve sustainability performance,” Henretig told Ecotextile News. “We’re also interested in working with organisations who share our commitment to industry and consumer transparency. These opportunities range from large e-commerce platforms, to industry trade groups, to organisations with complimentary environmental, social and labour performance data and more.”
Higg Co CEO Jason Kibbey added: “Achieving Higg Co’s mission of consistent and comparable sustainability data across consumer goods industries requires rapid proliferation, exchange and disclosure of the data.
