ADDIS ABABA – The Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF), which delivers Cotton Made in Africa (CMiA), is spearheading a new three-year project in Ethiopia which will address water pollution through water stewardship innovation and action plans.
For this, AbTF has partnered with the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS), AWS Africa delivery partner Water Witness International, Solidaridad Ethiopia and CDP.
The east African nation of Ethiopia has a booming garment industry and has registered exponential sales growth over recent years, with the government backing ambitious plans to mobilise its textile industry to become a frontrunner in Africa.
