LONDON – The British Fashion Council has opened a second round of funding through its BFC Foundation Fashion Fund, affording native businesses struggling amidst the coronavirus pandemic the opportunity to earn a portion of the £500,000 it’s raised.
Launched in March, as COVID-19 forced the UK into lockdown, the Fashion Fund has set out to support industry stakeholders which are navigating the crisis without investment infrastructure in place.
Having awarded its initial £1 million to 37 fashion businesses, BFC pledged to open new rounds of funding each and every time £500,000 was raised. Having done just that, applicants can again attempt to secure funding.
