LEEK - The Fashion Revolution not-for-profit movement is urging fashion lovers to write to their favourite brands urging them to do more to support the people who make their clothes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The global organisation, which campaigns for greater transparency in fashion supply chains, is also calling on people to donate money to organisations which support garment workers.
"If we do nothing, the fashion industry will simply return to business as usual when this is all over. Instead, let’s come together as a revolution and build a new system that values the wellbeing of people and planet over profit. This means that right now we should stand together to protect and support the people who make our clothes," it said in a statement.
