WASHINGTON DC - A total of 21 agricultural bodies, representing millions of US farmers and ranchers, have launched a new coalition committed to environmental and economic sustainability.
The new organisation, entitled Farmers for a Sustainable Future (FSF), aims to serve as a primary resource for lawmakers and policymakers as they consider climate policies.
The coalition will share US agriculture’s commitment to sustainability, and the moves already made to reduce its environmental footprint, with elected officials, media and the public.
