LONDON - British retailer New Look has become the first global fashion company to achieve a gold standard through the UN Climate Neutral Now programme.
The company is to be held up as a positive example for its work to reduce its carbon footprint at the COP26 environmental summit in Glasgow in November.
New Look has achieved carbon neutrality in its direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by a combination of switching to renewable energy and offsetting unavoidable emissions.
