STUTTGART - A total of 39 US companies gained certification to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) in 2019, bringing the total to 113 individual companies.
GOTS covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70 per cent certified organic natural fibres.
The newly-certified companies include one knitter, Roshan Trading Inc, and four cotton gins: King-Mesa Gin, Mesa Farmers Cooperative Inc, West Gin, and Woolam Gin.
