TÜBINGEN – Despite raw materials shortages, sales at European textile chemical supplier CHT Group have burst through the €500 million barrier at a time when it expects to ramp up the development of new products that fit in with the ‘circular economy’.
Working with retailers such as the multi-channel Lidl, CHT supplies biodegradable inks for printing and has also developed solutions for PET bottle recycling. Work on new textile formulations to reduce the shedding of synthetic microfibres is said to be underway.
