STOCKHOLM/ LOS ANGELES – Swedish retailer H&M and denim-led US brand Guess have both announced the imminent launch of new collections and services to offer consumers the chance to buy second-hand apparel.
Industry research has increasingly pointed to significant growth in the used apparel marketplace, with the recent Thred Up 2019 Resale Report suggesting that the next decade could even see second-hand sales eclipse those of the fast fashion sector.
