TEXAS – Textile Exchange has announced the second draft of the Responsible Wool Standard after "revising significantly" the first draft following feedback from wool growers, certification bodies, brands, supply chain companies and NGOs. The RWS is intended to be a global benchmark for animal welfare and land management practices in sheep farming. The stakeholder review is open until June 3 for further industry feedback, with the standard set for official launch shortly afterwards.
