ASHBOURNE — Since the Rana Plaza collapse of 2013, Fashion Revolution has held annual events to both mark the anniversary and promote more ethical, sustainable practices within the garment sector.
This year will be no different, with a global series of events set to unfold between 22nd – 28th April. The latest publication of the organisation’s largest ever Fashion Transparency Index report is also scheduled for release later this week.
Coinciding with the agenda for 2019, Fashion Revolution has announced its support for the UN Fashion Charter for Climate Action — a move which it hopes can lead to a greater campaigning focus on educating the public about the impact of the fashion industry on global warming.
