GLASGOW - The Scottish Leather Group, which claims to produce the world’s lowest carbon leather, is 90% of the way to its goal of achieving net zero in Scopes 1 and 2 by the end of next year, according to its new ESG report.
It has also pledged to reduce its overall emissions, including Scope 3, by 67.2% by 2034, against a 2018 base year. As part of this, it aims to reduce FLAG (forest, land and agriculture) emissions - including methane from cattle - by 48.5%.
