DHAKA - The Open Supply Hub (OSH), which works to make supply chain data open, accessible and trustworthy through its worldwide open data platform, has provided a series of updates to stakeholders looking to source textiles and garments from Bangladesh.
The update follows the recent swathe of political and social upheaval, which is continuing to impact people across the country, with significant implications for the four million workers in the garment, footwear, and accessories industry. Workers have reported unpaid or reduced wages for July, and suppliers are running their factories with additional overtime.
