ANN ARBOR – US biotech firm Kraig Biocraft Laboratories says it has entered the “rapid growth rearing phase” for its third spider silk production cycle of the season.
The company has also taken steps to add additional production space to accommodate the rapidly growing silkworms during this phase, in which they grow exponentially in preparation for the spinning of Kraig’s proprietary recombinant spider silk cocoons.
