CHICAGO - A former Gucci saleswoman is suing the luxury fashion house claiming she was misled into thinking that animal welfare standards were maintained for the sourcing of snake skins for handbags and shoes.

Tracy Cohen, who says she sold nearly $50 million of Gucci goods over her 18-year career, has filed a class action lawsuit under the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.
