WOLLONGONG - Artificial intelligence (AI) could reduce fashion's carbon footprint by improving supply chain efficiencies, according to a new Australian study of garment manufacturers in Bangladesh.
Researchers surveyed 211 managers of garment factories in Bangladesh with at least one year of experience using basic AI-powered climate service solutions and found they had improved energy efficiency, reduced emissions and increased renewable energy sources.
