BROOMFIELD – Following a successful pilot scheme, Crocs has announced the US national roll-out of its retail takeback pilot programme which allows customers to give their old shoes a new life either as a charitable donation or through a recycling process.
The pilot programme was initially available in all Crocs retail stores in 10 US states with the company using its existing partnerships and product developments, such as its Croslite programme, its partnership with chemical firm Dow which uses its Ecolibrium technology to recycle sustainably sourced waste into new products.
