KINGSPORT – Speciality materials manufacturer Eastman has confirmed the first shipments of newly-certified Global Recycled Standard (GRS) Naia Renew cellulosic yarn.
Naia cellulosic fibres are described by Eastman as a ‘fully sustainable material’ and are derived from ‘bio-based and molecularly recycled waste’. The first shipment of certified Naia Renew is produced from 60% sustainably sourced wood pulp and 40% GRS-certified waste materials.
