PANAMA CITY – Workers' rights organisations in 11 nations across Asia, Africa and Latin America can now apply for grants of up to $100,000 courtesy of a new initiative backed by several major charitable foundations.
The Democracy at Work Fund will provide financial support aimed at strengthening organisations’ capacities and resilience in their work with some of the most downtrodden individuals in the global economy.
Submissions are open for proposals until the end of January 2024 – with the subsequent goal of expanding its resources and scope in the months that follow.
