PARIS – In the run up to the retail industry's Black Friday event, fashion resale specialist Vestiaire Collective has removed a further group of brands and retailers from its platform and called on its partners and customers to join it in its 'Think First, Buy Second' campaign, effectively urging shoppers to again reject fast-fashion.

Last year, the Paris-based firm announced a ban on all fast fashion items being bought, sold or listed on its platform, part if its three-year plan to establish a set of ‘fast fashion criteria’ – encompassing product quality, associated carbon emissions and working conditions – that will be used to inform bans on environmentally and socially unsustainable companies.
