LONDON - Textile Exchange has launched a new risk assessment tool which it claims gives brands and retailers an understanding of the environmental impact risks associated with their sourcing of raw materials and fibres.
Launched at the industry's annual conference here in London, the Materials Impact Explorer (MIE) is claimed to be the first open-source risk assessment tool designed specifically for the fashion, textile and apparel industry.
