ARTEIXO - Inditex, owner of the Zara brand, has signed a €70 million, three-year deal to buy Cycora, a textile-to-textile recycled polyester, from Los Angeles-based Ambercycle.
The purchase commitment will enable the material science start-up to fund the construction of its first commercial facility with Inditex pledging to buy the bulk of its output, which is made from post-industrial and post-consumer polyester waste.
