GLOBAL - Two major new studies have been published which seek to shine a light on sexual harassment and gender-based violence in the global garment industry.
The Solidary Centre has released a cross-sector study of gender-based violence and harassment which includes an exploration of issues experienced by women garment workers in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Central America and Indonesia.
And the Independent Labour Organization's Better Work initiative has published an assessment of its work to support women garment workers in Indonesia, Jordan, Nicaragua and Vietnam.
