LEUNA / LONDON - Wood-based chemicals specialist UPM Biochemicals has linked up with London's Central Saint Martins - University of the Arts for a collaboration to demonstrate how industries, including fashion, can shift to using bio-materials in their products.
A team of 50 product and industrial design students from Central Saint Martins are tackling a brief to use the wood-based materials being developed by UPM Biochemicals in radical design solutions – from footwear and fashion to furniture and automotive.
