AMSTERDAM - Negotiations to set up a successor organisation to the former Dutch Agreement on Sustainable Garments and Textile (AGT) have ended in failure.
The Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands (SER) confirmed that the talks had ended "because the parties could not agree on the scope of the possible agreement".
Dutch trade associations INretail and Modint, trade unions CNV and FNV, and NGOs Solidaridad and UNICEF have been in talks on a new agreement for two years.
