BARCELONA - A director of ultra fast fashion giant Shein has raised eyebrows by claiming the company plans to become more focused on sustainability in future.
Shein executive vice chairman Donald Tang told the World Retail Congress in Barcelona that customers could now opt to pay more for more sustainable clothes and also resell their old Shein garments.
The world's largest fashion retailer, which launches 6,000 new products a day, has been widely criticised for its environmental impact and for the treatment of its supply chain workers.
