AMSTERDAM – Fashion for Good has launched a year-long collaborative project which allows a consortium of brands, including Bestseller, Inditex and Reformation, to road-test a prototype, bio-based and biodegradable polyester in their garments.
The bio-based polyester has been developed by Kintra Fibers, which after a successful US$8 million series A funding round, claims to be able to scale its resin and yarn production capacities.
