WASHINGTON D C – The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) and the Fair Labor Association (FLA) have re-launched and enhanced their joint commitment to responsible recruitment in global supply chains.
The Apparel & Footwear Industry Commitment to Responsible Recruitment was launched in 2018 to align the industry around a commitment to the fair treatment of migrant workers in supplier factories.
“All workers must be treated with dignity and respect, period,” said Steve Lamar, president and CEO of AAFA.
