LONDON - Waste charity WRAP has today produced two new reports containing its recommendations to the British government on how best to reduce waste and carbon emissions from the fashion and textiles industry.
The initiative says the UK should introduce an extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme to make fashion brands and retailers liable for the end-of-life of their products.
But the two reports also advise the government that no single policy measure is sufficient, and that a combination of measures is needed to effectively tackle the impacts of clothing.
