LUBBOCK - The Textile Exchange non-profit has updated the definition of its 'preferred' fibres and materials through which it hopes to help reduce the industry's impacts.
Textile Exchange has been using the term 'preferred' since 2010 to provide the industry with guidance to step up its sustainability commitments.
The new definition seeks to give a clearer description to what the industry body expects from "preferred" fibres and materials in fashion and textiles supply chains.
