LATHAM – US-based material science company Primaloft has revealed plans to launch Primaloft Bio, an innovation which it claims will be the first synthetic insulation made from 100 percent recycled, biodegradable fibres.
The company also notes that this technology will not change the performance, look or feel of a garment, ensuring durability will be unaffected throughout its life cycle with biodegradation only said to occur when exposed to microbes in specific environments.
