PEARL RIVER — Sustainable technology company Anellotech has announced plans to begin advanced lab testing for its innovative recycling solution which claims to efficiently recycle mixed waste textiles.
Anellotech's 'Tex-TCat' solution makes use of catalytic pyrolysis technology which the company says allows it to recycle waste textiles directly into the same chemical feedstocks used to make virgin synthetics like polyester and nylon.
“Tex-TCat has the potential to divert large quantities of previously unrecyclable textiles from landfills and provide major brands, through their existing suppliers, with recycled content,” said David Sudolsky, president and CEO of Anellotech.
