CARDIFF - A study of used textiles left out for kerbside collection or dropped off at household waste recycling centres (HWRC) has found that the majority is of sufficient quality for re-use.
The WRAP Cymru charity commissioned the Resource Futures environmental consultancy to analyse the quality of domestic textile waste in Wales and its potential for reuse.
The report identifies the detailed composition and contamination levels found in used textiles collected both in kerbside recycling collections and at HWRCs.
