SANTA BARBARA – Technology company Beni, which has developed a browser plug-in that enables users to compare secondhand fashion items, has today secured US$4 million in funding.
Beni has developed a website extension that, when a consumer identifies and selects an item they like, produces a listing of various, similar items available on leading resale platforms, from ThredUp to Vinted.
“Beni saves shoppers hours of scrolling and helps resale sites get the right inventory to the right shoppers. With this financial backing, we will grow our team and scale Beni to accelerate the adoption of resale,” commented CTO Celine Mol.
