BARCELONA – Spanish fashion brand Mango has set itself ambitious new targets in a new report, Sustainable Vision 2030, which sets out a new road map for reducing its environmental and social impacts on "product, planet and people".
On product, Mango is focused on prioritising materials with a lower environmental impact and incorporating circular design criteria so that these will predominate its products by 2030.
The company says that 90 per cent of its cotton is already "more sustainable", that 29 per cent of its polyester is now recycled, and that 63 per cent of its cellulose is of controlled origin.
