MILAN – A report launched at the third edition of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s (CNMI) International Roundtable on Sustainability says that consumers are willing to take a price increase for ‘sustainable’ fashion.
The McKinsey & Co. report, titled Global Sustainability Report: sustainability matters, but does it sell? was revealed by CNMI president Carlo Capasa in Milan. It found that among consumers, 70 per cent of respondents would accept a price increase of up to 10 per cent for a product that they consider sustainable.
