MANCHESTER - Black Friday protesters are to target the head office of fast fashion giant Boohoo which last year offered discounts of up to 99 per cent off its already low prices.
A coalition of campaigners and trade unionists is to stage a protest outside of the company's Manchester HQ on Friday urging it to instead reduce its environmental impacts, recognise trade unions and pay supply chain workers a living wage.
Clare Richardson, of Extinction Rebellion, said: “With the world facing environmental and social disaster, extreme Black Friday discounts on Boohoo’s already impossibly low prices are a crime against our future planet and against workers’ rights.
